This weekend, on September 13 and 14, the N1SCO Stand Up Paddle World Championships took place in Bernau am Chiemsee. For the over 100 paddlers from 14 countries it was a case of: On the boards, set, go. They selected their World Champion and TOGU was there. The air-filled training equipment specialists supported the event with, amongst other things, a special training course for the stand up paddlers.

TOGU, the brand for health, fitness and sport, is known in particular for its air-filled therapy and training equipment. However in recent years the company from Prien am Chiemsee has also made a name for itself with sport-specific training tools. The range now includes various pieces of equipment which are perfect for balance or whole body training but also for regeneration – the Dynanza Surf and the Balanza Freeride are just a couple of examples. Because the World Championship was to take place at their front door in Bernau am Chiemsee it seemed obvious that TOGU should support the 2nd Naish SUP World Championship. As part of the event the family company was represented, amongst other things, with a training course fitted with sport-specific training equipment. AS well as this the family company presented each participant in the World Championship with a small package of TOGU products.

Training equipment for stand up paddlers

The Dynanza Surf Board and the Balanza Freeride are perfect trainers for balance of board athletes. At the same time they allow diverse strength, coordination and endurance exercises. Regardless of whether it is supplementary training in the season or as preparation for your favourite sport. The robust wooden base plate is secure and makes various training variants possible on a dynamic air-filled support. The movement and vibrations transfer to the body and the equipment, and thus give direct feedback. This means that the deep muscles which are responsible for the stability of the body are strengthened, as is the sense of balance. Perception and coordination can also be improved and trained.
