Original ABS® safety made in Germany -
The airbag for your gym ball
What is a Powerball® ABS®?
The Powerball is is an inflatable and burst proof gymnastic ball - made in Germany - made of anti-burst material. The material of this Ball, called Crylon, is odorless and very resilient (max load up to 500 kg/ anti-burst guarantee up to 90 kg). It is free of latex and free of forbidden phthalates.
What is it good for?
For safety while sitting or performing exercises due to its anti-burst material which makes it guaranteed burst proof up to 90 kg of dynamic load (See Explanation below). Abdominal and back muscles can be strengthened through safe, efficient, and dynamic back and stability exercises.
How does it work?
While sitting on the ball an upright posture is almost automatically assumed by the upper body. At the same time the pelvic floor-, abdominal and back muscles are inevitably being used for balancing. This permanent activity strengthens the muscles.
"Many people think one ball is like the other. We are rarely wasting any thoughts on what could happen when a ball is damaged and bursts while we are still sitting or exercising on it. At any rate I want to be sure not to face an unexpected burst and therefore I chose the Powerball ABS. As soon as you pump it up, you notice its robust surface which leaves a strong impression. The ball changes slightly its shape when sitting on it, which is caused by the safety material. An exercise chart comes with the ball. By the way I use this ball not only for exercises but also for sitting at the office in order to prevent back pain. Compared to an office chair, this ball feels perfectly sporty. This not only helps to reduce my stress level at work but in the end it also improves my concentration.
